Problem 2:

Raj and his uncle went to a local library. The library had 745,820 books in science and 254,180 books in literature. Raj borrowed one science book and lost it. The following day, his uncle donated 5 science books to the library.

a) How many total books were there in the library initially?

b) Write the total number of books in words following the International Number System.

c) Write the successor and predecessor of the total number of books present in the library initially.

d) After Raj’s uncle donated the books, how many science books were now in the library?


Problem 3:

Maya and her grandmother went to a community library. In the library, there were 612,934 books in novels and 387,066 books in biographies. Maya took one novel and misplaced it. The next day, her grandmother donated 4 novels to the library.

Aisha and her father went to a community library. The library had 823,457 books in fiction and 176,543 books in non-fiction. Aisha borrowed one fiction book and lost it. The next day, her father donated 2 fiction books to the library.
