Murudeshwar Temple is located in Murudeshwar which is a town in Bhatkal Taluk of Uttara Kannada district in the state of Karnataka, India.

Murdeshwar is famous for the world's second tallest Shiva statue, the town lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea and is also famous for the Murdeshwar Temple.

Murudeshwar Temple is built on the Kanduka Hill which is surrounded on three sides by the waters of the Arabian Sea. It is dedicated to Sri Lokankara, and a 20-storied gopura is constructed at the temple. The temple authorities have installed a lift that provides a breath-taking view of the 123-feet Sri Shiva idol from the top of the Raja gopura.

White Tiger Facts White tigers are widely found in the dense jungle, mangrove and swamps. These species weigh around 140 – 300 kg (309 – 660 lbs). The average lifespan is 10 years in the wild. They become fully mature after 3 – 4 years. The period of gestation lasts for 103 days. Females litter 2 – 3 cubs. The length of the white tiger measures around 1.4 – 2.8 meters (41/2 – 9 feet), with the tail measuring 3 – 4 feet (90 – 120 cm). The newly-born cubs weigh around 1 kg (2 – 3 pounds).These juveniles begin to hunt after 18 months or so. The white tiger showcases unique white coloration which makes it rather more popular in zoos among other exotic animals. According to a rough estimate, around 15,000 Bengal tigers result in a white tiger. The natural breed of white Bengal tigers is too rare to take place. These tigers are bigger in size as compared to the orange species. They have blue-colored eyes, and their fur is pale in color. The mean weight of white tigers measure around 400 – 550 lbs, with the length measuring at 9 – 11 feet. The female tigers lay 1 – 6 cubs and these juveniles stay with their mother for about 2 – 2.5 years of age. White tigers are not found commonly in the wild; however, in captivity they are available in hundreds of numbers. They are the only tigers that are more readily found and are in greater numbers in captivity than in the wild. There are around hundred white tigers all throughout the India. White tigers for the most part are associated with each other. Inbreeding is needed for the recessive gene liable for the white color fact. The average lifespan of white tigers is low as compared to the orange cats perhaps due to the mutated genes. Besides, inbreeding depression can be another reason for the short life expectancy. There is still a debate among scientists about the white tigers in Siberia and their probability of occurrence of recessive gene in Siberian tigers is low. White tigers have similar visionary problems as that of standard orange tigers. Contrary to a belief, white tigers do not have crossed eyes and black striped. There is a general belief that white tigers undergo a wide range of birth defects which is not quite right as many white tigers are as healthy and their orange counterparts. There is a general belief that white tigers rely more on caretakers because of mental disorders which is incorrect. No scientific evidence has been proposed in favor of this idea. Variation in tiger’s behavior is expected and normal and it arises out of their own personality traits. These tigers tend to hunt at night and spend the whole day in their den while sleeping. White tigers are solitary animals.

KUDROLI GOKARNATH TEMPLE, MANGALORE The Gokarnanatheshwara Temple, otherwise known as Kudroli Sri Gokarnanatha Kshetra, is in the Kudroli area of Mangalore in Karnataka, India. It was consecrated by Narayana Guru. It is dedicated to Gokarnanatha, a form of Lord Shiva. This temple was built in 1912 by Adhyaksha Hoige Koragappa and compared to the other temples in the Mangalore area, this temple is of recent origin. The temple is 2 km from the centre of Mangalore city. The temple has Gopuram (tower like structure) decorated with murals of various gods and goddesses. Famous Adityapur Durga Puja Pandal 2019

The Jairam Youth Sporting Club Puja Committee at Adityapur – 1 Old M Type has always been in the news because of the rush of devotees and pandal hoppers making it a ‘must visit’ itinerary to visit its Puja Pandal every year because of the mesmerizing and theme based décor. Last year the theme was Jungles of Africa in which sustenance and culture of jungle inhabiting African tribal life was depicted. This year the message of discarding plastic use and making the environment cleaner is put across loud and clear. The Jairam Youth Sporting Club Pandal was jointly inaugurated by former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda and Singhbhum parliamentarian Geeta Koda. In his inaugural address, Madhu Koda observed, “I appeal to all the people to discard the use of plastic as it is a killer. It is polluting the environment and is affecting lives in all forms. It has become a primary need to save all forms of life from the draconian effects of plastic on the environment.” While complementing chief patron Arvind Kumar Singh for organizing Durga Puja with strong social messages, parliamentarian Geeta Koda said, “This pandal provides a message of ensuring cleanliness in and around every locality. Jairam Youth Sporting Club Durga Puja Committee sends out social messages each year through its theme based pandals.” Presiding the inaugural function, chief patron and former Ichagarh legislator Arvind Kumar Singh stated that this year the pandal theme was based on the ill effects of plastic use. The pandal sends out the message of a plastic free, clean environment. He said that the eye catching décor of the pandal projected how the demon in plastic use was engulfing planet earth. “It is through the intrinsically conceptualized and artistically executed pandal design that the Club has urged people to say good bye to plastic use,” stated Arvind Kumar Singh emphatically. The other special guests invited at the inaugural function included Sanjay Pandey, Chhotray Kisku, RK Sinha, UK Srivastav and Manoj Singh. The proceedings were anchored by Uday Chandravanshi. The vote of thanks was offered by Jagdish Narayan Chaubey. Immediately after the inauguration huge crowds poured into the pandal and were absorbed by the artwork depictions that made the Jairam Youth Sporting Club Durga Puja Pandal a standout feature every year.

Trikuta Parvata or Trikuta Pahar, collectively known as Trikutachal, is a combination of three main peaks on the hill. The three peaks of the TRIKUT hill signify the holy trinity of Brahma , Vishnu and Mahesh.

Trikuta Parvata is situated at the height of around 2,470 ft.  Trikuta Parvata is located at a distance of around 10 km from Deoghar on the way to Dumka.

 Pilgrims visit this holy site all around the year. The site serves as a location for Sage Bam Bam Baba for commencing his penance. It is frequently thronged by travellers and pilgrims during the month of Shravan for collecting wood apple leaves. Also known as Garden of Shiva, the site has trees of wood apples in abundance.

The hill is the origin point of river Mayurakshi and also has a famous Shiva Temple, which is popular with the name of Trikutachal Mahadeva Temple. Apart from this, the site also houses an altar of the goddess of Trishuli and a cottage of sage Dayananda.

DRIL has built a cable car that takes passengers to the top of the hill offering a great view of the holy town of Jasidih, Deogarh. The steep climbing angle and lack of a road to the top of the hill presented a challenge to the construction.

BORAM (East Singhbhum): In a state where elephants have claimed 900 lives since 2000, Lawjora village in Singhbhum forest area stands as an exception. Here, people worship the animals which, as a reciprocal gesture, have never killed any human being nor damaged any house till date. Situated in the Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary, the village is surrounded by wild elephants all through the year. But it's nothing short of a miracle that when other surrounding villages have been witness to elephant rampages, Lawjora has been spared of the horror.

The Lawjora villagers believe that this has been possible because of the intervention of "Haathi Kheda Baba". Every household at the village has an idol and a photo of an elephant (Haathi Kheda Baba). The locality also boasts of a temple, which has been there since time immemorial.

"The elephants frequent the village but have never caused any damage to life or property here. Unlike other villages in the Dalma sanctuary, people in Lawjora do not have to spend sleepless nights. Villagers do not chase elephants. They simply start invoking Haathi Kheda Baba at homes and the elephants go away,

Folklore has it that hundreds of years ago elephants used to wreak havoc in Lawjora. To put an end to this, a saint installed a clay idol and initiated the ritual of elephant worship here. Thereafter, the jumbo menace stopped in Lawjora.

The "Haathi Kheda Mandir" at Lawjora doesn't house idols of any god. All that it has are a couple of elephant idols. Tribals have immense faith in them. The baba helps ailing tribals recover soon, the jobless get jobs, the unmarried get married and so on. Those who buy vehicles write 'Jai Haathi Kheda Baba' at the dashboard to avert accidents.

 The locals claimed that elephants turned affectionate to the villagers once they stepped within a radius of 15 km of Lawjora.The animals have wrecked havoc in the past but Lawjora is always safe," said Sardar.

Dimna Lake is an artificial lake in Jamshedpur, which is situated at around 13 km from the city. This lake lies at the foot hills of Dalma Mountain ranges. The Dimna Lake is important for the city, as it serves like a water reservoir for the steel plant and the main drinking water source.

This lake is half an hour drive away from the main city and can be visited by a cab or a bus. It is located in the Mirzadih Panchayat of Patamda Block and was constructed by the Tata Steel. Tourists can visit this place in winters between November and February. There are boating and other water sports facilities provided including jet skiing and rowing in this lake.

There is a magnificent Mahabodhi temple and the Tree from the original sapling still stands in the temple premises. The temple is an architectural amalgamation of many centuries, cultures and heritages. While its architecture has a distinct stamp of the Gupta era, it has later ages inscriptions describing visits of pilgrims from Sri Lanka, Myanmar and China between 7th and 10th century AD. It is perhaps still the same temple Hieuen Tsang visited in 7th century.

Hussain Sagar at Hyderabad

Hussain Sagar  is a lake in Hyderabad.This was built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali to meet water and irrigation needs of the city in the year way back in 1562. IN the middle of lake is monolithic statue of Buddha which was built in 1992. The lake has Lumbini Garden at one end and Eating Street on other end. Lumbini Garden has beautiful gardens, musical fountains and various rides for both children and elders. Eating Street has lot of eating places like Cafe Coffee Day , Pizzas , Indian foods etc.
