Hussain Sagar is a lake in Hyderabad.This was built by Hazrat Hussain Shah Wali to meet water and irrigation needs of the city in the year way back in 1562. IN the middle of lake is monolithic statue of Buddha which was built in 1992. The lake has Lumbini Garden at one end and Eating Street on other end. Lumbini Garden has beautiful gardens, musical fountains and various rides for both children and elders. Eating Street has lot of eating places like Cafe Coffee Day , Pizzas , Indian foods etc.
Hussian Sagar lake at Hyderabad is also centre of sailing activities.There is a boat club which provides different kinds of boat and ship rides.
